Born in Port-de-Paix, Haiti on August 13,1963 Albott Bonhomme has studied at Maximilien Coicou School in his home town, in northwest Haiti. Later in 1985 he graduated as an industrial mechanic from the Technical and Commercial Training School of Port-au-Prince.
From 1986 to 1989 he studied painting by himself, applying his natural manual skills to develop his unique style. He began professional painting 1990 and lives now exclusively from his art.
This artist has developed a very personal style depicting colorful birds in lush vegetation and misty atmosphere of tropical jungles. The tones of his greens are particularly rich and various and the birds are presented in vibrant tints.
